Established in 1966, The Joseph & Vera Long Foundation is a private, family foundation that envisions a society that preserves the natural resources of the world, creates opportunities for children and youth to thrive, provides adequate care for the afflicted and most vulnerable, and supports women.

The Foundation provides financial support to qualified not-for-profit organizations working to improve the communities of Northern California and Hawaii, currently in five program areas.
